Okay I’m gonna be honest I really didn’t know if I was gonna like this as much as I did. I went in mostly blind besides knowing it was an age gap because those rarely disappoint me and this definitely didn’t. I loved the friendship between Aubrey and Natalie. They had such an easy friendship where you know that person is your friend soulmate. Seeing Aubrey’s money struggles and why she made the choices she did. And the progress of her relationship with James who is 30 years her senior. I love their relationship and the way they compliment each other. From the very beginning they were open and honest with each other with what they needed from one another.

The forbidden and spice were just perfection and a plot twist that I really did not see coming, when I tel you my jaw dropped

This is a captivating romance with an age-gap dynamic. The story revolves around Aubrey, a young woman who joins New York City's high-stakes escort scene and falls for James Riviera, a man she shouldn't desire. Their secret relationship, characterized by passion and concealment, tests their loyalty and sense of self. I enjoyed how the book depicted the opulent and hedonistic lifestyle of the wealthy, and the chemistry between Aubrey and James was intense. The story is filled with unexpected emotional developments, making it difficult to stop reading. While some of Aubrey's choices are controversial, the book's authenticity and complexity kept me engaged. This is a must-read for fans of intense, forbidden romance.

By the being my 1st 304 book I was intrigued. This book had me all over the place, Val was NOT about the money when she took that check from James. My emotions got involve when Grammy passed. What I didn't like was how she use the Dr. to mase certain feelings when she could have easily just let him go.
