I loved, loved, loved this book. It's so simple yet so special. It took me a bit to get used to all the different small plots happening in the book, but once I got into it I was engaged and curious about all of them. I loved all the characters and all their little anecdotes. I was very happy to see how this book managed to balance being queer as something important and difficult at times as well as something simple that's just part of you. It made me so happy to know that a book like this exists. The romance also left me giggling and kicking my feet like a school girl. I was so sad when it ended because I really wanted MORE.

What a wonderful, lovely coming of age novel. I felt so content as I turned the last page, if not a little sore in the heart with longing. I need this to be turned into a film right now

This was ok, I’m not a huge YA reader but I enjoyed this read. The characters were likable enough and I liked a lot of the background details that made up the plot. The fandom stuff wasn’t my favorite haha but definitely a fun idea. Wasn’t really a question of who she’d end up with at the end despite it seeming to try and push that throughout.
