I started reading this book looking for something which, ultimately, I didn’t quite find. Camus would say - perhaps rightly - that that’s on me for having expectations (and implicitly, hope) in the first place. But nevertheless the fact remains that I didn’t love this book as much as I wanted to, despite the lucidity and beauty of Camus’ writing.

one must imagine sisyphus happy. why? because we are all sisyphus.
really enjoyed this book and all it's insights. camus drops plenty gems throughout, gems that are especially resonant for those that can't help but view all of life's phenomena through eyes of logic and reason. having read the stranger previously, that book makes way more sense after reading this. it feels like he's describing mersault several times in this book. might be time for a reread.

Great resource if one is interested in existentialism and absurdism.
