This was such a cool exploration into future fantasy. It was long, which I enjoyed, and did a great job with the different storylines.
I struggled not to mix characters up at points. I think more verbiage in certain places may have been helpful. But either way, a solid 4 and I will make sure I read other works by this author.

The art in this was beautiful and reminded me why I love graphic novels and should read more of them. The plot was mysterious, in mostly good ways, but I would have liked a little more explanation for some things. Still, found family is my jam, and this was full of it. I really enjoyed this one!

This book is fantastic. Everything about it is just amazing. The characters were all so unique and special, and I love the universe it’s set in. And the art?? I can’t even- the use of colors and the beautiful otherworldly landscapes immediately caught my attention. I could look at most of the pages in this book for hours. Very pretty. I wouldn’t hesitate to read it again.
The story was really good. I liked how it all tied in and even the smallest of details was there.
Also can we talk about the universe/social norms and stuff? I don’t remember a single guy being on this book, but then again I don’t remember anything. And it’s like being wlw is what everyone expects or something?? (Not like I saw any other people for them to like.)They’re all girls (most of the people we saw anyway) with the exception of Elliot.
(By the way I really liked them. They got a lot of story revealed throughout the book and I think their character is really interesting. I love how literally everyone besides that one lady (Jo?) respected and used Ell’s correct pronouns, no matter what. “Oh yeah I hate Elliot and they deserve to die but they also deserve to be referred to correctly” - as it should be. Thanks for that.)
Anyway, this is an awesome story with truly beautiful artwork and everyone needs to read it.

Cosy sci fi somewhat in the vein of Becky Chambers, but with beautiful illustrations!
The romance was sweet and well-developed. The dynamic amongst the crew members was fun and I wish we got another installment to see the dynamic continue. I enjoyed the artwork and colorstory.
Once the love interests were older, it didn't make sense to me that the women would reunite simply because of a brief romance they had as children. The end of the book felt like the end of Act I. I was surprised there wasn't a series.

So beautiful!!! I want to fly around on a fish please. I think I would have loved just a little more explanation of the world but wasn't needed for the story - I just found it neat lol.
