This book just changed my life. I have never read a book where queerness and love were so connected and so normal. My heart broke a million times and I feel like I genuinely am going to look at the world and myself differently after reading this. Might seem dramatic but, this book saw me in a way I’ve never been seen before. Thank you Mia, Jules, Alma, Ell, Char, Grace, and Tillie

What a super fun book! It was whimsical, uplifting, but still a pretty serious look at a young girl trying to find herself (and pretty much succeeding). I loved how the characters built each other up and worked to support each other through the whole thing, without question (for the most part). It was a delightful read and relatively quick.

This was weird and cute and weirdly cute. The art style is captivating, the worldbuilding is fascinating, the story is engaging, the characters are well-written. I am confused and intrigued, I have questions and want to know more. This book made me feel so many different things and I loved it. Also, it took me 400 pages to realise there are no men in this book - NO MEN, none, at all.

This beautiful and complex book is all sorts of lovely, but I found it surprisingly hard to tell the characters apart until a good way into it!

An incredible addition to queer science fiction and to the list of beautiful, imaginative graphic novels. An all-queer cast of misfits flying around space in fish-shaped spaceships, fixing abandoned architecture. Two girls who fall in love at boarding school and must find their way back to each other. The concept of found family. Gorgeous illustration, but it lost me at points, going back and forth between timelines, and I had a lot of trouble determining which character was which.
