I liked his book but the tone was a little strange. Didn't like as much as Someone else's love story, but still good. I definitely like Jocelyn Jackson

first book by this author. Will be looking at her other books. contains language and some violence.
story kept me thinking as it changed around me.

Loved it. Absolutely loved it.

This book is preposterous. There are some funny parts but overall the plot is ridiculous. The characters are not fully developed and none of them are believable. I listened to the audiobook and they included music - which I assumed was for chapter transitions - but the music was too loud, varied and distracting.

I flew through this book and ended up really enjoying the mystery contained in all of the family secrets. I almost gave up at the beginning as the main character started off living in Chicago, and the author obviously had not done her Chicago research, but I'm glad I pushed past that because it was a good story.

Skip it.

Well...this was a surprise. A good surprise. It was full of secrets and I thought it was all spelled out until another surprise would get me. I really enjoyed this one...the main character was kinda crazy, and her family was nuts, but it was funny and sweet.

+ I devoured this story rather quickly and didn't want to pit it down. I really liked the style of writing and the pacing.

- Some of this is just way too far fetched for me to really believe enough to love this story. I also felt the characters were a tinge 2 dimensional.

I loved hearing this on audio. The music was weird, but the reader was great. Her southern accent added to the story and she was an excellent voice actor. I liked the way the whole thing wrapped up, too.
