Ik vond het verschrikkelijk dat ik zoveel moeite had met dit boek omdat het geschreven is door een van mijn favoriete auteurs, maar het einde maakt heel veel goed
I really enjoyed The Moon and More as I have all of Dessen's books but I don't think she will ever top The Truth About Forever in my mind. What I liked most about this story is the departure from the usual male lead who has all the answers, instead Emmaline not only has to figure them out for herself but also ends the story without a guy period.
I grew up reading Sarah Dessen and now that I'm older I would really love to see an adult novel from her. While there is not doubt her work explores some mature themes I would love to see them explored in some slightly older characters.

Theo was so unlike able it ruined the book for me. And made me glad my husband vetoed Theo when we were deciding on a boys' name.
The only reason I read this book was because I needed a break from Cassandra Clare's books after the disappointment of the fourth TMI book. This was a satisfying read, but definitely not up to par of Dessen's past work. I am just happy that Emaline did not stay with Theo, he was such an asshole. I probably would not read this again.
I enjoyed the beginning and the last 50 pages or so. But the middle of the book was tough to get through.
This was a pretty good book. The ending was both satisfying and disappointing at the same time. Review to come.
There wasn't enough chemistry between the characters, and there wasn't a character I really enjoyed reading. Fell flat.
Nothing feels more summery than a new Sarah Dessen book. Full review up at Slatebreakers at http://slatebreakers.com/2013/07/02/summer-jobs-week-review-the-moon-and-more-by-sarah-dessen/
This book is exactly what I would expect of Sara dessen. Good book and I'm so happy to add it to my collection.
For the most part, I enjoyed all of the characters. However, Theo bothered me from the second he came into the story. Maybe it was because I was waiting for him to get in between Emaline and Luke because of the book description, but he drove me crazy. I guess that was kind of the point, for Theo to annoy readers, but it made the book just okay for me, especially compared to other Sarah Dessen books.
