The stars are waiting for you

This book was lovely.

Maryah, our lovely lead is trying her best to remember her past lives with her one true love; her soul mate Nathaniel.

In the first book, Maryah was clueless as to who she truly was. Nathan and his family try everything they could to help her remember; remember Nathan and finally she remembered her love for Nathan; their love.
The first book was narrated by Nathan and Maryah. The second book is narrated by Maryah and Harmony. I missed Nathan's point of view but Harmony's point of view was as enjoyable as Nathan's.

It was beautiful. I loved how the author, Karen Hooper weaved the story. Her words were like a soft melody. The author has described the characters of this book in the best possible way. Every character seemed lively, it was almost like as if they were real.

The one thing that I wished was that the book could have been a little faster. It was slow - paced but it was lovely to read, nevertheless. I loved the concept of soul mates and retaining your memories of your previous life. It was very intriguing and something completely different.

On the whole: It was a very lovely read.

Go see the stars, they are always there

These stars represent each member of the Kindrily :)

It's almost 2 AM and I am so tired. But I had to stay up and finish this book! It was so much better then the first one. There was a lot of action, romance, and excitement. But some of the characters annoyed me a little. And Maryah being so horny all the time was annoying too. But the cliff hanger at the end! I need FIGHTING FOR INFINITY now!

“I’d like to try a different tactic—the opposite of pain, but just as powerful.”
I bit my lip, tingling at the thought that pleasure was the opposite of pain. Please let me be right. Please let me be right.
“Pleasure,” Nathan confirmed. Yesssss.”

• It was brilliant to know that Carson was Rosalie's and Emmet's I mean, Harmony's and Gregory's son.

• That conversation about sex LMAO

• I like that even they being soulmates, they feel uncomfortable, keep secrets and are normal -- in their way.

• Their first date was magical and weird at the same time, not special and completely romantic as the other books describe. It felt real most of the time.

• The end --- what the hell.

To be honest, I didn't like this book soo much because most of the time nothing, and at the same time so much, happened. But I hope the next one will be better.

Parecia real a maior parte do tempo.

A continuation from book 1. Picking up just shortly after the ending event of book one. We see a little more of the other kinderly which is nice. With Harmonie being one of the 2 povs this time around.
Maryah still caught in learning who she was and trying to regain her lost memories and abilities. Harmonie on the otherhand is pushing to find her partner, and ends up pushing to others some to help her.

Overall I did enjoy the story. Not overly found of Maryah's character who seems to be more whiney than needed. Though, that seems to be the norm for YA female leads. This book does push the envelope to being a straight out romance. What is in the book is there as a growth point for the main character, and the details are few of what is going on.

5 -El mejor libro de la serie -estrellas.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I had this series firmly entrenched in my mind as YA fiction, so some of the steamier content caught me by surprise. The storyline progressed enough to keep me happy, but looking back I think that most of the "action" was of a more sensual nature.

It's rare that I get to like a series more if I'm not into it by the first book but I have to say that book 2 is definitely an improvement on the first and I'm going to read the third immediately...
It's still not a favourite and there are definitely flaws in this series but not a bad read.
