oh this was so lovely. it was so interesting reading about his upbringing and how he got into comedy. i think the messages he puts across in this book about not being afraid to be yourself and don't let other peoples opinions on you stop you from being who you are and doing what you want.
i listened to a podcast where a mum had contacted tom about the book and said that their 10 year old son had read the book and the way tom talked about being yourself and not being afraid to be different their son and really helped him and i just think little things like this are so important.
i really enjoy tom as a comedian so i knew i would like this book and whilst i didn't take anything groundbreaking away from it, i did finish reading it with a sense of being more okay with myself and not being afraid of what other people might say about me
