two words: MAGIC
Anything that J.K.Rowling writes is sure to astound and inspire, and she sure did not disappoint with this. She turned something so simple as a screenplay and turned it into another magical adventure into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! The details she uses are just amazing and I cannot wait to read the next screenplay for this series!

It was like I was watching the movie again! <3

Not really a review, but here are some thoughts I'd like to share!
First of all, thank you [a: J.K. Rowling|1077326|J.K. Rowling|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1415945171p2/1077326.jpg] for introducing me to the world of plays and screenplays. Next time a reread this, it will be when I'm sitting on the couch, watching Fantastic Beasts on DVD, and doing a read-a-long!
Secondly, although there were a few things that bugged me about the storyline, as a proud Hufflepuff, I really can't complain - I appreciate any opportunities to discover [a: J.K. Rowling|1077326|J.K. Rowling|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1415945171p2/1077326.jpg]'s magical wizarding world.
Third, I loved the book design. Good work MinaLima!
Finally, I just thought I'd put it out there that Newt Scamander is kind of like an old school magical version of Ash Ketchum.

Can you tell where I'm heading at? He basically runs around and catches cute monsters with a magical suitcase version of a Pokeball!!
I'm clearly not the only one who thinks this way because a quick google search gave me this:

If there was a Fantastic Beasts Go app, I would totally download it and catch myself a pet Niffler.

Keista skaityti tokio formato knygą, bet ką norėti, juk tai scenarijus! Jaučiausi lyg vėl žiūrėčiau filmą (o ir šiaip ne kartą jį esu mačiusi). Tačiau visada smagu pasinerti į Hario Poterio pasaulį, tik šį kartą be pačio Hario Poterio. Svarbiausia Magiškasis pasaulis! Ir fantastiškosios MinaLima iliustracijos puošia kiekvieną puslapį!
Gahhhh I love Newt, Jacob and Queenie!
This book is so gorgeous the illustrations are so sweet and break up the screenplay perfectly.
Just a nice quick read. Allows you to take in a bit more than just watching the movie.

Maybe it's unfair of me to give 2 stars, but I was horribly uninterested while reading. Plus sides: it's a quick read, the cover is beautiful, more Harry Potter. Down sides: just about everything else. Yes, it's exactly like the movie in terms of the the script, but without the special effects and the magic seen in the movie, the screenplay falls short. If I hadn't seen the movie first, I think I would've been confused about what was going on. Compared to the original Harry Potter series and the Cursed Child, this screenplay just wasn't doing it for me. It's perhaps one of the only exceptions to the rule in the fact that the movie was better than the book.
4 stars!
I did not really know what to expect from this, as I've never really read a screenplay before, but I quite liked this. What I probably liked most is that I found out several small details that I missed in watching the movie itself. Beside that, it is not super special, but I really liked that I got to revisit the movie in this way!

I loved learning more about the wizarding world in other countries and it is also nice having a main character who is a hufflepuff
the perfect companion to the film. a must have for the shelf of any self-respecting Potter fan
