ok so at first this series was really slow and i could not get into the books at all. this book was so good compared two the other ones. i can not wait till to read the next book.
This was a pretty good book. As good as any of the others in the series. It would've been better if there was more of Schylur and Jack in it but it was still good :) It was really interesting and it left me wanting to know what was going to happen next.
This book really took the storyline off on a tangent. I enjoyed how everything started coming together at the end, although I'm getting ready to wrap up this series. Hopefully the next 2 books are straight to the point.
Ok..sooo..I just read that this book is the 5th Blue Bloods novel...I hope I'm right and Wikipedia wasn't lying to me..
Honestly, I was majorly disappointed by this book. I felt like there was so advance really in the storyline except on seeing a new side of Mimi and meeting that really cool Vender.
There are no major plot points in this particular book that seem worth mentioning really. The only thing I can think of is Schuyler and Jack's stupidity. I'm really surprised because they are usually my favorite characters but I almost hated them in this book.
They were in Florence for 11 MONTHS before they finally figure out they are in the wrong city. OH MY GOSH!

They wasted so much time doing nothing just because Schuyler couldn't comprehend a passage in the reading. If they had figured that out, this probably could have been the last book in the series.

This book was the most interesting so far - the different structure and new character were engaging. Great palate cleanser
when i finished the van alen legacy i was a little uninspired to keep reading this series...it didn't seem to be moving forward...the first part of this book, misguided angel, initially changed my mind...i was sucked in to schuyler's story but when mimi started her story i became uninterested again...i liked the introduction to deming and her role but overall i wasn't impressed with this book...it felt like snippets that didn't really show any kind of character development nor did the storyline really move forward very much
I’m very confused by the ending which seems mid sentence and the overall storyline which has had really no progression…very odd
