Damn cliffhangers!Good book I love how so many lives are separated, but intertwined so greatly. Can't wait for the next one to come out.

nah
adventurous dark slow-paced

Kinda seems like a transitional book. Doesn't really get to the heart of the story, but still not too shabby.

Now I see why people are calling Melissa de la Cruz a moneygrubber. This is the fifth book in the series and this story is nowhere near done. In this installment the author barely grazed over the main story. In fact, she decided to introduce new characters with new story lines and we are not any closer to resolving the main conflict. Way to string people along. De la Cruz writes as if this were a TV series where it’s ok to go off on tangents because you have to save something for the next season, instead of remembering these are books that need an ending.

The characters are okay but I think that if she wanted to keep this series going for a long time she needed to go about it in a different way. Don’t just keep leading people on by deceiving them! She should’ve written the books as if they were sitcom episodes instead of soap opera ones. That way every book has some sort of conclusion but she can keep using the characters and at the same time she doesn’t gain so many angry readers against her. Let the readers choose.

I suppose I did this to myself. I told myself I wouldn't read this series again after the disappointment of the 4th book and yet somehow when i saw this audio book on the library shelf, curiosity got the best of me...

I guess it was my least favorite of them all so far, seemed more like a filler book than an extention of the main storyline. Regardless it was still entertaining

This book feels like filler, a bridge between books 4 and 6. Honestly, nothing seems to freaking happen for 60% of the book.

excellent. at the end of the book reminded me why i hate Mimi so much. she is such a b*tch. I love jack and Schulyer together, but i feel bad for Oliver. I so can't wait for the next book. I can't believe i have to wait until next year for the next book in the series. It sucks.

Mimi is now the Regent and the other Blue Bloods are not all behind her, well some are and they are stabbing her in the back. She is faced with a you tube video that shows a torture scene with a vampire involved. The whole vampire race could be exposed and the vampire is said to die soon. She must find who did this, shut it down, hide the vampires from the red bloods and get over jack leaving her and pull the knives out of her back. Oliver steps up to work with the new Regent, while dealing with his own pain. meanwhile Jack and Sky find themselves saved and too well protected from the NY coven and in the midst of a mystery that may separate them forever....
Adventure and mystery fill this chapter of the Blue Bloods. My only real complaint it was very short a mini novel.
