While I found the book to be a little too repetitive at times, especially around the third sections, I enjoyed this book a lot. The writing is so descriptive and felt almost animated while I was reading. I especially enjoyed the last section, which I felt really tied the entire story together really well.

What a slog to get through! This book follows a university student through the consequences of the club he chooses to join as a freshman, guiding the reader through alternate universes with large swaths of repeated text in each iteration of the story. Man—glad this one is behind me. I will not be reading other books in this series!

Found it hard to get into but once I did, I thought the book was really charming. It’s an interesting take on using a multiverse to explore that feeling of choice anxiety in your early 20s. I definitely have multiverse fatigue but this felt fresh enough that I wasn’t sick of it.
