Deborah Harkness

I enjoyed this book, as I like the characters and world previously created by Harkness. That said, this book lacks a real plot or conflict. I found this book to be a bit meandering and I was always waiting for *something* to happen.

Worth the read for All Souls fans, but not gripping or consuming like the I found the trilogy to be.

This one dragged on and on for me. Not nearly as good as the original All Souls trilogy.

Another fabulous read, with a great historical fiction twist from a different era.
Nice to revisit these rich characters, and get some new perspectives on some of them
