I am sucker for romance, but I don't think Abbi Wexxam does enough to establish the initial connection between Nate and Christia. I mean the writing is good enough to suck me in but it's a lot of back tracking to establish a connection that should have been clear.
That be daid I think the concept of the story was interesting. I just think there was to much to tackle and some of it was jot done particularly qell. Overall not a bad read but Wexxam has better books

Christa Comes Out of Her Shell features a marine biologist who returns home when her famous father returns from the dead. As in other Abbi Waxman books, it embraces fun romance and family drama with plenty of humor. I enjoyed the book, but not as much as the author's previous work. Read if you enjoy: humor, silly scenarios, marine biology, characters coming into their own
