I absolutely loved the first book in this series, but I couldn't get over how this book felt rushed towards the end. Would have loved it if the author fleshed out Heath's character as well as his concerns about the resort's management.
Loved the change from the typical friends to lovers story, also loved how the author addressed the psychological impact divorce can have on a man in his 40s (the self doubts and confidence problems). The love between Heath and Griff was beautiful to read. The chemistry was amazing.
Can't wait for the next installment in the series

This book was cute and sweet :) I loved how much these guys were dumbasses for each other and completely blindsided by how much they loved/wanted each other. Heath was very sweet and charming always complimenting Griff. The family drama was very low stakes which I appreciated and they didn’t have a dramatic third act breakup of miscommunication which I also appreciated.

I am so loving this series so far. This was such an amazing friends to lovers book. Griff has spent so many years unhappy and giving up things for his wife and son, this was such a way to show him getting his HEA in an unexpected way. Throughout the last book and starting in this one, all Griff talks about is getting laid, but it took his best friend Heath showing that he wanted more. So excited about this series and can't wait until the next one.
