A Wild Sheep Chase isn’t among my favorite Murakami works I’ve read, but as always with Murakami this novel was a trippy experience. A Wild Sheep Chase, in traditional Murakami fashion, blends real and imagined worlds, distorting expectations by creating a dream-like scenario. I didn’t know what to expect from this novel and I was utterly mindfucked as usual, so I think Murakami succeeded here.
