An interesting read. This book kept me constantly on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the overall story and loved the various characters. It did feel like an episode of Law and Order SVU, but I loved it. The subject matter was difficult to read at times, but it definitely added to the suspense. The only thing that annoyed me was the constant reminder about how many days the victim/survivor spent with her captor. I understand she was a victim but it just got on my nerves. All in all this was a great read.

There are no words for me to describe my feelings for this book. I need some time to process.

Brilliant gumshoe novel. Great mystery, good characters. Didn't pick the twist.

A good thriller but fare warning, it’s a little graphic and tough to read at times. Seven years ago Flora was kidnapped during her spring break. She went on to spend 472 days in captivity. Miraculously, she survived and now she’s trying to get her life back. But she also can’t get the things that happened to her out of her head so she sets out to be a vigilante of sorts and try to help save other women.

Meh.... it was a quick read. But honestly, the plot was just too unrealistic. It was suspenseful in places, but I guess just not my style of writing.

This was a great mystery/suspense book. Super creepy (should't have been reading it when I was home alone!) the book was fast paced and kept me wanting to read more! The plot was a tad bit unbelievable, which is why I have it four stars instead of five.

I've read these books out of order, so I’ve read about Flora in another book. This was the introduction to the character and story of Flora and it was a very compelling read.
