While hubby cooked dinner in the background, I inhaled this final volume in The Nameless City trilogy. I’m delirious. What an incredible story! I cannot wait to return to work and share this with readers.

Hmmmmm, I just may re-read these books again before I return them to the library.

What an ending! All the big confrontations were so satisfying
Spoiler I love that they match Rat and Kai with their adult counterparts for the big showdown (I mean, it makes sense, but I'm still glad they did it). I especially liked Kai's fight with Erzi. It manages to condense down most of the major points of the series in a way that feels natural and not expository. Rat's fight does as well, but the issues they embody are more personal. & I was so stoked to see Kai's mom! She's fantastic!
It was a very good and concise ending to a good series.

A very satisfying conclusion to an entertaining trilogy. I loved getting to meet Kai's mom and see her in action — excellent addition to the series there! And I felt like the characters got a surprising amount of depth here, including the villains, which was great. My one complaint is that the individual fight scenes seemed to drag a bit, but the entire climactic battle seemed over rather too quickly and easily. That was a fairly minor quibble though; overall it was definitely worth the read.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a wonderful ending to the Nameless City. Which is saying something considering that I am usually very particular about a way a book ends. The graphics were straight up gorgeous, (As per usual) and the storyline was lovely. I so recommend you read this book instead of stopping at the Stone Heart. The Stone Heart doesn't give the book any justice.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
