The Bone Criers Moon-2⭐️- I’m so disappointed in this book I was really anticipating this to be such a good read because the premise sounded amazing but, everything felt very shallow and forces from the plot, to the romance, to the magic and abilities. It was incredibly average writing, and the world building was boring. The characters lacked substance and I just didn’t care when they were fighting for their lives. There was also so much in this book that wasn’t explained or explored like why Odiva ends up sacrificing herself even though she was moments away from killing Ailesse. And I won’t go into book 2 to try and find answers.

I just finished this, and I want to re-read it already.
I didn't love it. I loved the concept, but the character's felt somewhat shallow and predictable and the romance felt, somehow equally shallow. I give it 2 instead of 1 star because the ending gave me hope for book 2.
So much of this felt forced especially the romance. I wish this followed the friendship instead.. it would have been a bigger impact. not sure I can stand reading the second book.
