I loved every second of this book. 10/10 recommend. Love Ivan. Love the representation in this book. Maybe a little heavy on the inner dialogue, but that’s a minor thing for me. Genuinely did not want this book to end!

This is tied with Lingus for my favorite Mariana Zapata book.

There goes book 59 of 2020. Gosh, this reminded me so much of Spinning Out (never gonna be over Kat and Justin, UGH). The main characters not getting along until they start falling in love + all the family drama + the kick ass figure skating. Really liked this (duh, I finished it in 3 days), even though Jas and Ivan did not act/talk like a 26 and 29 year old. At times it felt more like they were teenagers instead of grown-ups. But oh well. I forgive them. Because like I said, I really liked this!

The banter drove me insane. At almost 30, the best insults the characters could come up with were what would be said in elementary school. "Satan", woah girl, watch your mouth there.

My first MZ book and I was satisfied to read it. I loved the banter b/w these two and you know when they say something so sweet in their own language and then pretend like it was nothing and gives her a nickname? Yes, this is it!

And if you're in the mood to read:
❃ Sports romance
❃ Revers grumpy X sunshine
❃ Childhood frenemies-to-lovers
❃ He takes care of her when she's ill

Then what are you waiting for?? Go pick it!!

I’m so used to Dual POV that I didn’t think I’d enjoy only one perspective but I loved it and I love Ivan
