Really interesting overview on how poorly women are diagnosed. I think it was a great read to gain insight to other peoples barriers and how they have overcome them.

The book is about being neurodivergent mainly focused on women who do manifest the various types of neurodivercency differently than men. The first part is descriptions of various conditions with some stories of women who have them. There is a lot of criticism of the DSM and the fact that most studies are done with men and boys. The second part is more useful in as much as it discusses how people deal with and make life easier for people with a variety of conditions. At least the book was for adult. Try to find a book on this subject that does not only address children.

This is a great book for women, non-binary, and gender fluid people who live with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergence. There’s so much good info in here! One note: this is not a good book for someone who’s completely new to these concepts, as it assumes some familiarity with some terms and ideas and so doesn’t go into great detail explaining some things.
