Loved the found family aspect and the UK setting. The romance was a bit lacking and didn't have enough of a build-up -- seemed like it was a given, but the individual characters were pretty good (a lil ott at times tho)

MFC is running from powerful abusive husband. MMC isn’t mean, but is cold and mistrusting in the beginning. He ends up being protective teddy bear in the end. 
The side characters were also funny and sweet.
