Intense and exciting. Even if you've already seen the movie definitely worth reading the book.

I keep revisiting my thoughts for a review on this book. I read it because I am looking forward to seeing the movie and admittedly pictured Jennifer Lawrence when reading about Dominika. It was a little hard to get into, but the story is compelling and interesting. I had a few issues with how the author developed Dominika's emotions- but I'll say no more for risk of spoiling! Worth a read.

This was just a "not for me" book. The last book I read was long and boring and I figured that this book would HAVE to be packed full of action. I don't normally read spy novels, soooo was a little lost, and thought there were moments of page turning action with long chapters of .... not page turning action. I was 68% done with the book and was going to put it down, I didn't, I finished and am glad I did, the end was good.

Kind of astonishing for a spy novel, but the movie was *much* better. Better plotted, better pace, better surprises, better reveals, better ways out of sticky situations
