I really enjoyed this book once I got into it. Unfortunately it felt like forever until I did. With the length of the book it wasn’t actually much percentage wise but even with listening to the audiobook at 1.75 speed it took hours to fully immerse myself. I think it’s because since there’s such a large group of people it took me a while to really understand the differences between each pair and so every time it switched from one pair to another I felt momentarily lost and confused. Really enjoyed the world building though and the twists and turns especially at the end. The world feels similar to a historical kdrama but still completely new and fantastical.

Very well casted with 6 narrators. The voices fit the characters perfectly. It took me a minute to get used to all the POVs, but it wasn't difficult to follow at all.

I love how gradual the world building was depicted and the love interests. No insta love, but definitely good chemistry!

Very much enjoyed this world with all the twists and turns. looking forward to the next book!

Overall, I had a good time reading this book. It kept my attention and engaged my interest. I did struggle with the changing POVs between the six characters. I lost track a few times.
