Interesting premise and cool plot twist at the end. Unfortunately, lacked in execution. Characters felt flat, with a lot of telling instead of showing. The fast pace meant that character relationships and 'bonds' were rushed and forced, with the lacklustre plot making the story drag and feel unclimactic. The world building was clunky and the names of everything just threw me off (I understand it's supposed to be a blend of Korean and Western fantasy but the picking and choosing of certain elements like names felt like not a lot of research was done and the Asian aspects were a second thought added last minute with no respect towards original source material/culture). Overall, quick read but if you’re looking for Six of Crows, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Very easy to read, some things felt trope-ish but the plot and characters always kept moving (literally and figuratively) the plot twist was amazing,all povs were equally fun.I'll miss ty
