This is the first book I've read by this author and I did not know she did it like this! From about 20 pages in I knew this was going to be right up my alley and it was in every way. Any minor quibbles I have are overshadowed by the things I loved. This will be my gold standard for friends to lovers. I truly ran through every emotion. Felt like some of the most realistic interactions between two MCs that I've read, from their friendship to their fights to their intimacy. Truly experiencing a book hangover from this one.

This one was a 2.5 star rounded up to 3 for me. I have been hearing amazing things about “Out on a Limb” and wanted to read her works in order. I really wish I had started with her newer stuff.
When she says Friends to Idiots SHE MEANS IT. I got so tired of everyone just waltzing around in their life. Also, you guys know I like Taylor Swift, but to have a man quoting her in this book is just frustrating. No straight man is out here unintentionally quoting Taylor Swift. Seriously, a man is not going to quote Invisible String. Yes, it is a cool Easter egg but I was just so done with the book that when Matt quoted it, I was irritated. It felt like the author has a checklist of Swift quotes and was trying to add them all. It felt forced.
The first quarter of the book was good but I was just so tired of it at the end.

Main character girl is annoying and doesn’t believe she can be loved but the romance scenes are hot and it’s a cute story.
