I read the first two books in this trilogy a few years ago, tried to read the final book and could not for the life of me get through it. I picked it back up this year for the sole purpose of finishing the series and it was a hard time. Especially because I didn't remember a lot of the story line from the other books (though I also only moderately enjoyed them too). I don't really have much to say about this book/series. It was okay, but there are definitely better fantasy series out there that feel more coheiseve and rounded out. The Seeker series felt like fantasy crossed with sci-fi and a bunch of other random elements; it didn't work for me. It felt like the author was trying to do too much and couldn't just pick one genre to stick with. Also can't get behind the third cousins romance...when I read the three year time jump at the end I physically cringed.

Review to come. I feel pretty horrible that it took me this long to finally finish this series, particularly since "Seeker", the first book had a lot of potential and dialogue surrounding it but never executed in a way that made it stand out among other YA Fantasy trilogies. This was a decent conclusion, probably among the better of the series offerings if I had to wager how readily I followed events from it, but it still didn't stick with me for being a series I'd return to. I will need to refresh my memory on the previous two books before I do a deep dive into this one. But I think I'll settle with 3 stars.

Arwen Elys Dayton's ending to the Seeker story is very well done. It doesn't leave the reader with loose ends, and keeps the reader engaged until the end. I enjoyed the book, and am content with the ending. I would definitely recommend if you enjoyed the other two books Seeker and Traveler

Disruptor is het derde en laatste deel in de Seeker-trilogie en wist mij omver te blazen. Dit boek... WOW!

Fascinating world building and a pitiable and enraging antogonist in an excellent conclusion to the Seeker trilogy.
