Great little read. Loads of reviews seem to compare this to Harry Potter, while there are kids, a secret world and lots of magic, it is nothing like Harry Potter and not even comparable. Give it a chance, it's a delightful read.

Bookopoly 2021. - Middlegrade

Sto godina sam ju čitala. Bila mi je totalno nezanimljiva.

I absolutely adored this book. Great story, wonderful writing. Fun and engaging—my 10 year old loved it too! Can’t wait for more.

Would be so great for kids not quite ready for Harry Potter.

A toilet brush that isn't.
A belt that isn't.
A colander that isn't.

All these things can be uncommon and have alternate uses in Lundinor-where Ivy and Seb travel to unravel a mystery that threatens them and their grandmother.

I had fun with this book, and parts of it were quite intense and had me yelling at the book!

I really enjoyed this. Great, unusual world building concept and a tense story where there seemed to be something at stake from the start. Ivy is a fantastic character, smart and determined, and despite her age the clear leader of the group.
