Interesting modern take on the classic Frankenstein story that explores current political culture and how perceived “others” are alienated while playing essential roles in our society/economy. Thought-provoking concept, but could have been executed better. Ending felt abrupt and incomplete.

This is unfortunately a very confusing novel. There's an interesting thread about post death revivification and labor rights throughout the novel mixed with a clumsy attempt at a racial metaphor and a poorly considered political take on the post 2020 electoral landscape. This just didn't land for me personally, but I can see what the author may have been trying to get at.
