I missed Lila and Maddox! This novella was a treat. Their life and their children are so precious. Their baby is adorable <3 I cried too. Dare To Love is the compilation of Truth & Dare duet series with the addition of Maddox & Lila's Christmas novella. In the main duet, we get to see the relationship of Maddox & Lila on how they were enemies who ended up becoming best friends and finally into something even more. Like seriously, I can't even describe the amount of love that I have for Maddox & Lila, but having the opportunity to see more of them after the duet series gave me the perfect closure for the couple.
First of all, I loved everything about this duet series. Just by reading them, we can slowly see the development of the main characters where they had to face many challenges in life in order to achieve the ending that they deserve. However, after reading the novella, it makes me feel so overwhelmed because it gives me the sense of emotion that I didn't expect at all. Everything about this book is just bittersweet and I appreciate how Lylah James was able to handle some realistic issues that usually happened after marriage. Not gonna lie, reading this book specifically the novella gave me a wake up call that you will always face multiple challenges throughout your life no matter what happens. Therefore, the most important thing is having someone to be by your side to fight together in overcoming any trials and tribulations in life.
On the other hand, Maddox is just wonderful and I couldn't help but fell in love with him all over again. I loved how he was always there for Lila where he continuously supporting her and assuring her whenever she was at her lowest. Whereas for Lila, she is extremely strong who will always try her best to handle the situation. Not only that, but we also get to see how great parents they truly are when it comes to their children. Like urgh, this couple is just perfect for me and they literally owned my entire heart and soul.
Overall, I think Lylah did an amazing job in delivering the entire story because everything was written very beautifully. I LOVED IT SO MUCH! I truly recommend everyone to give this book a read because it's absolutely worth it.

okay so this was a bit of a guilty pleasure. let’s say at times it reminded me of certain stories on a certain app but BUT it was also cute as fuck and so full of fluff and a slowburn which is exactly what i needed. no further comment cuz as i said guilty pleasure is the perfect way to explain my love for this book😄! anyway waiting for the coltonriley books!!!

I honestly don't know where to begin. This is about Lila and Maddox and gosh they are so cute. the book took me forever to read but then again im in school and by forever I mean 2 days. But I've been in a slump and while this book took me forever to read I would say its worth it. This was two books in one plus a novella so I guess I shouldn't be too harsh on myself. Ok now onto the review Maddox and Lila well they were the best of friends for 4 years and then welp this is a love story so obviously you can connect the dots. But wow this book felt so fucking long. first book is basically them becoming friends and then the second book is the love story. Lots of smut too. their adoration for each other was just so cute as well as their protectiveness. Would recommend to all me friends bc although it felt so long it was definitely worth the read
