Did this cross every box from my YA checklist? Yes. Did I guess the true outcome of the mystery about ⅓ of the way through? Yes. Did I still really enjoy it? Also yes. This is why I like to read YA - even when it is a bit predictable and cliche, it still manages to pull me in and have me flicking from one page to the next. Highly enjoyable! I’m looking forward to the sequel.

Really fun read! The ending was predictable but the characters were enjoyable to read about, so if you enjoy character development then this may be a good book for you.
