Nice

I like this book better than the first book.
First, Darien is amazing book boyfriend material. Big, scary, devil hooked on sweet Loren.
Second I do think there was more spice in this book if that's something you need. Then there's so much action going on and while it had a similar plot line timing everything played out much smoother this time around. There are still a lot of balls up in the air so I'm excited to see what happens next.

This book tore my heart out, stomped on it and put it back in my chest. Kayla Edwards is such a talented writer and makes you feel connected to characters before you even realise. The cast of characters were amazing, I enjoyed following more perspectives then just Loren and Darien although they are still good. Max and Dallas’ relationship blossoming and learning about their families is something I have treasured. I also enjoyed that all of the characters were doing their own thing and not just following one path together. Between Dallas and Loren’s family drama and Darien trying to protect those he loves. I enjoyed that all of the characters had a unique dynamic with each other and that every interaction is different.
