Great sequel to City of Gods and Monsters!! My heart broke multiple times throughout the book - the tension, the yearning, the love!! Built off of the plot of book 1 well and I’m excited to see what happens in book 3

The whole first hundred pages is just the two MCs having sex with no plot movement. The way the author writes spicy scenes is gross and cringeworthy.

Gut wrenching!! So much action! So much happens it’s quite hard to keep track but I love the adventure the book takes you on. It’s not super clear the direction of the story which may bother some people but it doesn’t bother me so I had a grand old time reading this book. Please note, this book is SO LONG so you need to go into it willing to read the whole thing.
