I was in a book slump and this definitely brought me out of it! The characters are lovable (Gracie is a pushover but she EVENTUALLY straightens her spine and grows a backbone!) the plot is good, and it has the right amount of Christmas romance for a great holiday read. Overall rating: 4.5/5

What a wild ride this book was form start to finish. I think half the time I was saying out loud "WHAT!?" from the characters interactions, family dynamics, and overall chaos of the situation. If you want a book that doesn't take itself seriously -in the best way -but also has a heart for the holiday magic and Christmas season this is your perfect next read. I admittedly cried a few times because what our girl Gracie was going through felt a little too close to home - she is a self-proclaimed doormat who let's her family use her for anything and everything because she is the eldest and willing to do it for the sake of peace. Until she creates a plan to destroy her sisters wedding for stealing her ex by bringing the bad boy she met on her bus ride because she knows her sister can't resist the tall, dark, and handsome man. But this man is hiding a lot more than why he chose to take Gracie up on her offer. Buckle up and hold on for this holiday novel that will make you want a pug, some hard egg nog and a bad boy of your very own.
This was such a good book. Gracie is having shit luck. Mainly because she lets everyone walk all over her. Her parents demean her, her fiancé sleeps with her sister the night before their wedding but she puts on a strong face and tried to make people happy until she can’t take anymore. She meets Hudson on the way home for her sister wedding to her ex. Grace decides the best thing to do is get revenge and pay Hudson to be her fake boyfriend. Little did she know Hudson was planted there to get close to her for a mission he’s working. Revenge, corporate espionage, a sassy granny lots of Christmas sport with a heavy does of spice. What’s not to love.

this made no sense at all. and the fmc needed to grow a spine like 200 pages before she actually did bc wtf
This book is so bad that I stopped reading anything for a whole month.
While this book was very funny at times, it also dragged on at times. The book is too long and could have been a bit shorter.
I was a bit surprised at all of the dirty talk as I hadn't seen that in any of the reviews. (Spicy & dirty don't bother me...I just wasn't expecting it in this book.

So Much Christmas Cheer
Spice oh so nice and Bad Boy oh so hot make a tempting combination. This family dynamic was amazing. The angst between the two main characters was so well written and kept you guessing, but the side characters from grandma's to cousins added so much to the story. So glad she finally grew a backbone through out the story.

Dear Lord, I don't know how many times I blushed. I love them. Granny reminded me of mine. A great book.
