 I don't know what I read.

But I loved it.

I laughed so hard -Gracie's family and some of the comments thrown out there KILLED ME.

Gracie is a pushover. She hires Hudson to help her get revenge on her sister (who is a terrible human being) - only doesn't count on his brand of help.

Hudson - is on a mission to get some information out of Gracie, only can't just ask... so while he is helping her get back at her ex and sister by getting in her pants - he's also trying to get into her laptop.

This was ... slightly ridiculous. And by slightly, I mean 100% totally.

BUT - I was 100% entertained the entire time. The banter, the chemistry, the spot on snark. Grandma Murray alone is pure comedic gold. All great. Random scenes that probably weren't necessary were still great. I mean this is a book that was TOO MUCH and yet just right at the same time.

I could not stop giggling.

This is a Christmas book full of smut (honestly - if the words cock and pussy bother you - you should not read this, because some of their dirty talk is a little much (seriously, I don't know anyone who would say what Gracie says half as much as she does) - but still entertaining.

This is perfect escapism and entertainment if romantic hijinks is your jam. It seems to be mine.

Highly recommend.

“I love you” “I don’t believe you” AHHHH!!!

It usually doesn’t take me a lot of time to figure out how I want to start my reviews, some take longer than others to write, but I can start one fairly quickly after I finish a book, but I was stumped for a bit of time with how to start this one. I normally begin with why I wanted to read the book or how I found it, all that jazz, but I didn’t really want to go that way with Good Elf Gone Wrong, so that tripped me up a little. You might be thinking that I didn’t like this book since I had some difficulty thinking up what to say, but that’s not the case since I loved Hudson and Gracie’s story! I won’t lie, the first third of this book was a little rough because while I knew that Alina Jacobs’ was not going to have one of her hero’s actually sleep with or do anything really inappropriate with a heroine’s sister, I was just nervous, okay? It didn’t help that Hudson was a real big turkey, seriously, I haven’t read all of Alina Jacobs’ heroes, but he was the biggest turkey so far. Once he started not being such a jerk and Gracie started standing up for herself a little, it definitely got a lot easier. There were still parts in the first third that were fun and enjoyable too just to be clear.

Good Elf Gone Wrong was truly a fun read. It made me laugh and whoop and grin like an idiot. It was cute and hot and full of awesome, frustrating, shake your head, laugh out loud, heart warming moments. I just loved the elf (pun intended) out of the book — it was so fan-flipping-tastic and I’m hoping we get books for all the other Wynter siblings!

This book was really funny, but the abuse that Gracie put up with was excessive. I found myself getting angry and stressed over the unfairness, and I read Christmas for cozy, happy feelings. The dirty talk was a bit redundant and the spicy scenes were just ok. But the comedy and wild characters made this an overall fun novel.

And we’re done with the holiday reads

Effing amazing

Love love love this book. So funny and just great in general. I love goofy Christmas books and this one sealed the deal.

I really liked the story line however I thought is was going to be a cute holiday romance, turned out to be a little more spicy than my taste. Not that I don’t like a spicy book but some of the descriptive words I didn’t care for. Absolutely love the grandma in this book she reminded of the grandma in the movie Tammy.

I couldn't put it down!

This book was amazing and I couldn't put it down! It kicked off with a bang and got better with every chapter. Gracie's family was chaotic, toxic, and totally dysfunctional. I loved how Hudson taught her how to stand up for herself, even if he had ulterior motives.

Dakota was an amazing character too and I loved the support she gave Gracie. Kelly was so terrible, but that was the point I think lol.
