It was a pretty amusing read to me.

It isn't a scenario that would happen in real life. And basically no character's reactions are realistic but it was fun!

The main problem I had was after he told her he loved her and they just started slinging mud at each other. Like damn. I get being hurt but certain words can't be taken back in relationships.

OBSESSED!!! Beyond belief you have no idea how into this book I was. I devoured it in a night and had more than one "oh god yes"moment while reading.

Christmas Romance

Gracie is Christmas happy and I am all in with her. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I am a firm believer in the season starts on Nov 1st and is the most incredible, magic filled, cookie baking extravaganza time there could ever be. And Gracie is my kind of gal. Except for the fact that she is a TOTAL pushover for her toxic family and all of their bullshit that they throw her way. She has the worst sister in the entire world, and parents that are double standard heavy like no ones business. Even better to top it all off she is planning the wedding she was supposed to be having, with the man she was engaged to last year, and the dress of her dreams...for her evil cheating ho ho ho of a sister.

But through all of this drama and crap that Gracie is dealing with she finds the one man who can make her find her strength, stand up to her family, and make her "feel" alive and wild and sugar and spicy.

These two have strong banter, enemies to lovers vibes while they both pretend that neither is into it but they each crave more. I loved watching them fall for one another, and the way that he hates Christmas matches her over the top ness like no other.

Also how could we not fall in love with Pugnog the most adorable companion to ever exist and who gives the full spirit of Christmas in every look.

Honestly this book is a 10/10 for me in holiday romances! Hudson can jingle my bells any day!

Christmas, family drama, and company espionage

This book was EXCELLENT. It was everything you’d want in a contemporary romance and then some. The relationship between Hudson and Gracie was lovely and progressed so beautifully. The amount of times I laughed and smiled! If you enjoy a hectic ride of a story with Christmas drama then this is the book for you.
Gracie’s family definitely gives My Big Fat Greek Wedding family vibes.

cheating the night before the wedding with the sister and the sister drinking asking why aren't you asleep?

If I could take back the time, I would

Girl that has no backbone and lets her family walk all over her wants revenge on her sister and ex fiancé. Awful family, made me want to slap the FMC. It’s a cringe fest all over the book. Unsure why I even read this

Sigh. This one was rough.

When I talk to other readers and authors, we get onto the topic of “dark romance” and where the line is for the groups who read it. My line is this: if the MMC is going to be an absolute asshole, the author better make sure he does some serious groveling and we see growth and development. We don’t get that here.

Our FMC doesn’t find a backbone of any kind until seriously the last two chapters. Damn. I’m not a fan of weak heroines, but Gracie comes off as immature, silly, and TSTL more often than not - yet she’s supposed to be brilliant and running a business alone when all the men are worthless? Not believable.

I was hoping this would get better. It did not.

OMG! This was so good! I kept seeing this in an Instagram ad and knew I needed to give it a go. I read it all in a single evening. I'm a sucker for a pug. Plus, there are dueling grandmas.

This is not *quality lit* but I had so much fun reading it. Gracie is an amazing doormat for most of the book, which made the tell off that much more satisfying. The spice was fun also but kind of dragged on/felt gratuitous at one point. Granny Murray is #goals.
