This is not *quality lit* but I had so much fun reading it. Gracie is an amazing doormat for most of the book, which made the tell off that much more satisfying. The spice was fun also but kind of dragged on/felt gratuitous at one point. Granny Murray is #goals.
This definitely isn’t a book I can read. The first few chapters were nothing but treating the FMC atrociously, with even a cousin saying to her to stop being a doormat. The thing is, she knew it was wrong but put up with it anyway. That was the start but also the end for me, it didn’t get any better. It was a poorly constructed storyline that was full of abuse in some form or another. I can’t get behind that. I know it can happen and probably does a lot, but I read for enjoyment and enlightenment, not to cringe with every chapter.

I really enjoyed this story! Gracie's insecurities and her tendency to be a doormat just toe the line of annoying, but overall I enjoyed her character.

Pretty much disliked every character in this book.
A cute fun holiday read. I needed a palette cleanser and this one caught my eye and it did not disappoint. Think fun light rom com. Nothing too deep but that's what made it perfect
This book was really funny, but the abuse that Gracie put up with was excessive. I found myself getting angry and stressed over the unfairness, and I read Christmas for cozy, happy feelings. The dirty talk was a bit redundant and the spicy scenes were just ok. But the comedy and wild characters made this an overall fun novel.
Just what the not quite Christmas spirit ordered. All the drama and family pain with the Alina brand of final Fluff off payout I need and love.
Also Marines are hot. Just saying

This is the goofiest and most ridiculous thing I have ever read. 5 stars.
Good holiday book! What I thought was going to be a really cute Hallmark Rom Com was definitely more spicy than I anticipated - I am not complaining! It was a good quick read that sucked you in right away. It definitely veered off into a more complex storyline than the synopsis which also - not complaining! I like the character development and I can't wait to see if there are more books especially of Hudson's siblings and of course their own love story continued!
