The grumpy billionaire needs a fake wife to inherit what is rightfully his and asks this perfect ray of sunshine for her help in a marriage of convenience, what could possibly go wrong? Talon is broody and is fighting for what he believes is rightfully his and that’s his family’s hotel chain, but in order to get a chance at it he needs to be married and that’s when Rory comes in. Rory thinks this is a temporary thing that will eventually run it’s course, but Talon is this overprotective guy that can’t stand the thought of being away from her and finds a way for them to spend more time together. Rory is such a beautiful character with a heart of gold that brought Talon to his knees, it just took some time for them to figure it out, but both are scared of being hurt. Can they work these feelings out to dive in to this relationship or will they self sabotage it before it really can take off? I absolutely loved their story and getting to see Talon melt and become such a loving guy for Rory made it easy to fall in love with him. Perfect!
Talon and Aurora meet when one of the hotels Talon’s family owns hosts a teachers conference; however, they ran into each other a year before under the same circumstances, except Aurora did not have a place there. This time Talon has every intention of making Aurora’s stay enjoyable because he needs her to agree to his proposal; she does, but at what cost? Talon ends up working on a hotel close to Aurora, so he gets to live with her. Aurora has a hard time lying to her family, especially because of her past. I love Dean and his relationship with Gigi and am glad that Talon had them in his corner.
✨ ARC review ✨
Marriage of convenience, grumpy billionaire x sunshine teacher, opposites attract, no third act break up?! Sign. Me. Up.
Rory and Talon were such a hoot to dive into and follow their love story! Their dynamic is one I absolutely adore when I read anything with those tropes listed above. Rory always appears sweet and in control, but little do we know she has a whole different side to her, one only Talon can get her to unleash. Which I adored.
This was beautifully done, and another side of Sunny Brook Farms we get to see! I’m loving this family more and more one book at a time.

This book was a good read. Made For You is book three in the Sunny Brook Farms series.
Talon is a grumpy billionaire and Aurora is the sweet girl that agrees to a marriage of convenience in exchange he goes to her ex's wedding with her. Also, the supporting character of his meddling grandma was fantastic, she was just lovely.
Talon and Aurora had great chemistry and you could really feel it in the pages. Read this if the MMC saying "my wife"is your thing....it's totally mine.
Releasing February 13th, 2024. I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book was so sweet and wonderful and sexy and I loved it.
As expected, I absolutely loved it! It was a perfect, sweet read for around Valentine’s Day. I am totally into the fake dating trope, so Renee sold me immediately with that. Rory is a sweet soul who doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She hates taking risks, but she hates disappointing people even more. Rory just wants to be able to provide for her students back home and help her small town survive. Insert Talon…he’s desperate, a billionaire (yes please!), gorgeous, and needs help from Rory.
Between the fake marriage, spice (yes, Renee knows what she’s doing), and the billionaire strong MMC, I was all in! This one won’t disappoint!

This is book 3 in the Sunny Brook Farms series. Our FMC is a teacher headed to a convention after a disaster of an attempt last year. Our MMC is interim CEO of the hotel chain it's being held at, and in order to become full CEO and inherit his trust fund, he needs to find a wife and be married for 6 months. He decides to pick someone, our FMC, from the convention to be his wife in name only. It will be a strictly business agreement. He will inherit and she will get $1 million. The chemistry is undeniable, and lines get blurred. But will this end as it's supposed to, blow up in their faces or could it be a happily ever after?

After a meet disaster last year during her annual teacher’s conference in Miami, Aurora (Rory) is shocked when hotel executive Talon proposes a fake marriage to help him gain control of the family business that should have rightfully gone to his late mother. In return, she would gain funds that many of her rural students need to help their futures.
It seems like they wouldn’t mesh - a HS teacher and a hotel executive - but their connection fills the gaps missing in their lives. Talon’s family is toxic and abusive, aside from his grandmother, Gigi, and he finds love and acceptance from his new wife and her family. And Aurora finds unconditional support and love from Talon, after past relationships tore at her self-esteem and goals.
There are some issues with boundaries, but I guess billionaires have a different set of expectations and standards than the rest of us. It’s one of those things I wouldn’t like irl but it works in a book.

Did I immediately DM Renee when Miami traffic was in the prologue? Yes, yes I did. That aside, I loved coming back to Sunny Brook. I love these sisters and their town. Aurora is just such a tough cookie, but the one that is crispy around but gooey on the inside. And Talon. Oh Talon. If you love marriage of convenience, small town, big families, a big ol' grump, then absolutely pick this one up. Thank you to Renee for the chance to revisit Sunny Brook Farms early! Made for You is out tomorrow!
Dnf @ 10%, there were so. many. characters introduced in the beginning of this book. It was impossible to keep track of them and it felt like the author was doing a brain dump of tons of information all at once. But then on the other hand there were paragraphs about things that added nothing to the story, like the kind of protein powder the mmc and how exactly he made his daily drinks. Too much dialogue and descriptions and not enough of what the characters are thinking.
Ages of the characters felt off for their roles, both should’ve been aged up to at least 30 to make this remotely realistic. I also didn’t like the little bit of the mmc we saw. He was rude to his employees and strangers. The fmc was immature and made rash decisions.
Won’t be reading other books by this author.
