Well, I must say I don't understand the hype...
The romance didn't get me at all. but I was surprised by the brutality that is described I this book. I enjoy this kind of parts normally if there is an edge to the story. But here I had to take a few steps back and regroup.

I really enjoyed the book
i loved jameswendy sm !! Their chemistry was amazing
So much happened in the last few chapters and it felt a little bit rushed it could have used a few more chapters but i loved it nonetheless
And i heard that the next ones are even better so i am excited to read them

i liked it, nice quick read although the whole peter pan thing just annoyed me, i loved james tho so much ughhhh

Peter Pan but not as you know it. James "Hook" is still cast as the villain but is he a product of someone else's making and when an opportunity to seek his own revenge, well who is he to opportunity when she walks into his bar. The characters are written with strength and emotion and the provocative plot exploring themes of love retribution and redemption and the fine line between hero and villain develops well. While there is an immediate connection between James and Wendy, an understanding of the character's motives slowly brings everything into a delicious dark precipice. I enjoyed the subtle hints to all the characters and props from the original and how they are turned on their head. For those who enjoy darker, more mature twists on classic tales.
