Another excellent instalment with enough twists and turns to savour and this reader, at least, can't help but like the Kinsey character. Each story gives a little bit more of her and her talents.

Kinsey is still disappointing me with her choices and her way to deal with the consequences (makes her seem dense), but still an entertaining read.

There is a lot I enjoy about the Grafton alphabet series, and I am going back and catching up on a few I haven't read. This one is a bit dense in the physical descriptions, but for some readers I'm sure that's a plus. The double story line was interesting, but not as unpredictable as some of her stories.
It never was clear why G is for Gumshoe. Maybe I have missed some sort of literary verbiage or crime speak? I found this book to be rather annoying. The story line was strange and Grafton tried to merge two rather large plots into one story. I'm not sure if it worked or not. With the success of her books overall people would say it worked but Grafton has a cult following of sorts, which is the mystery I'm still trying to figure out.
