Eh, I feel like the first book was a lot better than this one. Still liked it though.

Initiated was an okay sequel. Definitely got defeated the second book syndrome if you ask me. It had potential but then fell flat. Especially during some scenes that I usually look forward to (cough cough sexual scenes).

Just like the first book, this one has bullying.. but a bit more? It's not just her love interests bullying her left and right - nope, more have joined in on the fun! Ugh, I hate bullying and it still makes zero sense to me that someone who is your love interest.. is into bullying you? No idea what drives people into falling in love with that type of disastrous relationship - but to each their own?

Other than that, I felt like some scenes were a bit out there. I don't really want to go into detail but I felt like she should been hospitalized or something.. or idk be on the brink of death after ya know - drinking poison? Maybe it's just me.

Overall, Hazel was okay in this one. Nothing really happened in this book that got me super invested into it. I might go into the third book but I might not - who knows.

Stop what you are doing and READ THIS SERIES

I swear this series just gets better and better. Second book of the paranormal, bully, RH romance series.

Again, I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!!! Y’all, I haven’t been this entranced by a story in a long time. I mean, I’ve read plenty of amazing books that I LOVED and added to my “read again and again and again” shelf, but the plot to this series just blows them all out of the water! So much mystery and suspense. I CANT WAIT TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Hazel has began to form her relationships with her three guys but this is definitely a slow burn. She works on her revenge on her bullies and she works on finding out how to rid the school of all things evil and restore all things wrong. I’ve read many paranormal bully romances, but this one seriously takes the cake. This is my first series by this author and I am SHOOK, HOOKED and a FAN!! You need this series in your life. I did not receive an ARC for this book, I do not know the author, I am just that obsessed with this series. HOLY CANOLI!!

Off to the next I go!!

Still got 3 hours left of the audio book but this was just not my type of a romance. Turns out it was the second book so I might have thought differently if I had read the first one. But I just didn't feel the romance between the characters and I was rather bored listening to it.

Enjoying the series. Just be warned, it's not your typical romance.

OMG.......... Where do I even begin. This book is so unlike any book currently on the market and this series has my mind f#@$ed in so many ways.

Hazel calls to me in a way many heroines do not. She is tough, strong, independent, badass, and all around self-reliant. I love that even though she has three live interests she knows she ultimately needs to rely on herself. She doesn't underestimate her abilities, and pushes through time and time again.

I have so much invested in this book that I am salivating to get my hands on book 3. The plot twists, and descriptive words has thrown me into Miskatonic prep itself. I am right beside Hazel as she battles the darkness, bullies, and herself.

Trey, Quinn, and Ayez have thrown me for a loop just as much as they have Hazel. I cant tell if they are working with her, against her, or using her for their own end game. I love to hate them, and hate to love these three. I am rooting for good to win and not evil along with a HEA for Hazel however she can get it.

Hmmm.... There are some things in this book that bothered the shit out of me, but at the same time, I feel like I need to know how it ends. The story itself is unique in some ways as far as the supernatural aspect, and it has a nice creepy, gothic, dark tone to it that is perfect for this time of year. The ending also had me super intrigued. I won't go into details for spoiler's sake, but I don't really know how to rate this. For now, I guess I will go with middle of the road.

Super good second book, I cannot wait to read the third, this one for sure ended on a doozy of a cliffhanger. The plot thickens, the characters get richer, and the world gets a little more topsy turvy. This is insane, this is a good time, this is a must read. I was so hooked and read so fast I felt like I had just started when it ended. I am looking forward to the last book that is for sure.
