I have to say this, I am a HUGE Maya Hughes fan!
The Perfect First was a great book, and I had no idea the worlds crossed with the Kings!
Okay, so Fearless King - Liv and Ford's book - is a great read. I feel like the story is told beautifully to provide background on both Liv and Ford, as well as their multiple friends.
Fearless King has it all:
* Brother's Best Friend
* Hockey Sports Romance
* Secrets
* Great friends/support systems
They've known each other since they were young, but the timing has never been right. We experience some of that frustration througout the book as they deal with conflicts with both their brothers, and as everyone keeps unknowingly blocking them.
I'm looking forward to Marisa's book (she's gotta get a book right?), as well as the tiny little teaser of Nix and Berk at the Brothel. I'll be grabbing up all the other Kings so I can read up on all the couples in their friends group!

I have been waiting for this book since Ford was first introduced and let me tell ya. The wait was so worth it.
Ford and Liv's story was so good. I loved it from the first chapter. It is written so good and I dont think Maya is going to be able to top this one.
There were so many obstacles standing between these two but they over came them.
Can't wait for Colm's story.

“There are a lot of promises I’ve made to myself over the past week, and one of them is that I’m not lying anymore, not just to other people, but to myself, and saying I could stay away from you was a lie—the biggest one I’ve ever told. There’s nothing in this world that I want more than to be there for you, to love you and show you how much you mean to me.”
2.5/5 stars.
honestly this was more disappointing than anything else, liv and ford had so much potential but this was just too dramatic and all it managed to do is make me hate colm lol
the silver lighning was the marisa and lj crumbs, i just need their book!!!!!
DNFed at 20%. Going on dates with his brother and kissing him in the past IS SO WEIRD. Can authors please stop doing that
I swooned so much in this story. It is sweet and sexy and I cannot get enough of this series. I can't wait to see what Maya has in store for us next.

Since the start of the Kings of Rittenhouse Series, I’ve been impatiently waiting for the release of Olivia and Ford’s story. There’s just something I love about the little forbidden aspect of a brother’s best friend romance. Maya Hughes crafted a truly sweet, emotional slow burn romance that I adored with Fearless King.
"She was Liv, the woman who'd haunted my dreams for so long I'd stopped wanting to wake up because when I opened my eyes, I knew I could never have her."
Liv and Ford have been denying the feelings they have for each other for years. When Liv’s big brother Colm goes on the West coast for a few weeks, he asks his best friend Ford to keep an eye on her. So after months and months of no contact, Liv and Ford slowly jump into a beautiful friendship. Their relationship is really gorgeous. They connect so easily and their chemistry is powerful and undeniable.
Liv has been focusing on her goal to go to medical school since a very young age. But it’s more than apparent that it’s not her dream anymore. She’s crushing under the weight of her studies and the expectations of her brother. She needs to reconsider her true desires and Ford is there to help her make decisions about her future.
Ford is also dealing with his own dilemmas. Going for the girl he’s been infatuated with for years isn’t as easy as it should. She’s his best friend’s little sister, but also his younger brother is crushing on her. He truly needs to follow his heart, but it's not easy with these two big obstacles.
"There was nothing else but the flames he's fanned in my body, and there was no one else who could put them out. There was only Ford."
Fearless King was everything I wanted. It made me smile and cry, but mostly swoon so much. Maya Hughes brought to life my new favorite couple in this amazing series. I'm more than intrigued about Colm's story now!

I caved because I found out this one was brothers bestfriend and I just couldn't resist. I did enjoy it but the third act conflict was so ridiculous so it loses half a star
It's funny for me to think that this was my least favourite book in this series when it was really the one that encouraged me to read the series in the first place. Ford and Olivia had features in The Fourth Time Charm and I found their romance more exciting than LJ and Marissa's LOL. Unfortunately, I just didn't love this book as much as I loved the other ones. It was still a good book a part of a great series.
Loved this story. I could tell from the first book something was brewing between Liv and Ford. It took them a while, but so glad it finally worked out for them
