Love Anthony Horowitz’s book as usual, but am I missing the evidence here?

Also it would be wonderful if we’re getting at least 3 more books in this series as it was suggested in this book. But it’s hard to tell what to believe when an author writes himself (brilliantly) into his own book.

Horowitz outdoes himself again! I absolutely love how much his character has gotten to know the elusive Hawthorne over the last 4 books (love love love wholesome guy friendships!). I read somewhere that Horowitz plans on writing 12 books for this series, so can’t wait to read 8 more

I really love the concept of these books, with the author writing himself into the story. Such a fun concept! This one might be my favorite so far...

I was looking for a light read while I’m ill, and this served that purpose well. It is the fourth book in a series.  I haven’t read the others, but I don’t think it mattered. There were a few apparent spoilers for the earlier books, but the author so clearly catered for new readers I wouldn’t be surprised if they turned out to be not that spoily after all.  I enjoyed the conceit a lot, and the wry humour was great, would have liked more of it.
Maybe more could have been more made of the Hammer references, and I was disappointed not to get the second half of the play,  maybe I just missed it, or didn’t understand why it was omitted.
I paid 99p for this, and got more than my money’s worth.
