WOOOOW. Now this isn’t the darkest book I’ve ever read but dang does it take you somewhere gray for sure! I honestly was hooked from the very start of this story with a badass main female character - yes please.

Viola is a bad ass assassin who goes undercover at a prestigious high school to find the person she is meant to kill next. What she doesn’t expect is to start questioning everything about her mission… she is a true force to be wreckin with & she doesn’t any bull. Trust me when I say you don’t want to be on her bad side.

There are so many plot twists & bombs that go off in this book that had me ROLLING!! I mean come on this stuff got intense! If you like darker romances with unconventional characters & an INSANE ending - this is a must for you!

I read the MF version of this book that was in the Violent Tendencies anthology - I loved it. This is an expanded RH version of the story and although I didn't think it was possible, I love this even more. Viola is an assassin that is dark, twisted and fond of knives. Her latest target is also dark and twisted and not at all who she thinks he is. Set in an exclusive school, the students are used to being the apex predators, so a target that doesn't rise to their bait is a new novelty. Lorcan, Jude and Dino are brilliant psycho men and I can't wait to find out more about them. This is not for the faint of heart and has some really awful things in it, but it also has hot and sexy moments!

I want more!

I love reading RH where the FMC is more badass than the men. Right off the bat, this story got me hooked. There’s a certain mystery around Viola’s identity - what’s her backstory, why is there a certain darkness in her, how did she learn all these skills - and you find yourself wanting to read more to find out. I love Lorcan but I do want to hear more about Jude and Dino in the next books because they seem interesting too.

i’m confused to who’s going to be in the harem so hopefully we’ll find out soon.
mainly - is dante in it? he seems so interesting to me so i wouldn’t mind it.
i’m not sure how i feel about jude/dino - dino is literally hung up on his ex and jude seems to be on a spiral from what we’ve seen from auroras diary.
the epilogue made me confused because it felt like we did a time skip but like i missed a lot because of how it ended. hoping it gets explained soon.

Crazy good

Viola is a seriously badass trained assassin who is hired to impersonate a high school student to get close to her new target. Lorcan Duke, one of the five most powerful crime families, catches her completely off guard. While trying to get close to him, she gains access to other members of this powerful group and builds relationships with Dino, and Jude as well.

The storyline is fast paced and I can't believe some of the twists this group goes through to get to where they are by the end of this one! This was such a page turner I finished it fast! I can't wait to see more of how this progresses into the next books. The craziness of Viola definitely meets her match in the crazy of these guys and the darkness lurking in them all. I'm also excited to hopefully see more of Dante in the next one because, ya know those killer instincts in them both are bound to clash
