A very slow read leading up to a decent twist but nothing really came from it. The book twisted then just sort of concluded and ended.

What absolute trash.

Books set in the pandemic are just the biggest no for me. It wasn’t mentioned once or twice either it was constant references to masks, social distancing, pods, quarantine. Hated it. Who wants to read about that.
The twist was just silly and came from nowhere, the majority of the book is spent developing the 3 main characters relationship, at times I really was wondering what was happening with them all and looking forward to the big reveal but it was just ridiculous, disappointing and done for shock value. Totally destroyed what could have been an okay story.
The premise was so intriguing but this wasn’t a fun or enjoyable read.

I tore through this book, which was annoying now that it's over. I needed to know what happened, but I honestly couldn't stand Kelly. She was annoying, and really, kind of dumb.
I also was INCREDIBLY annoyed to find out who the killer was. They made the mansion out to be Fort Knox, and then the killer sneaks in via a tree? I felt really slighted by that. The author led the readers to believe it HAD to be someone in the house, because there was absolutely no other way in. I feel like the author just really went for shock and awe, there. Realistically, all it left me with was an eye-roll, and a deep hatred for this book. It gets 3 stars because I finished it, and the person who died deserved to die. The other person who died? Well, I didn't really care very much about that person. Basically every character in this book sucked. Sabrina was okay, but JUST okay
