I can’t decide what to rate this. Now to preface this I haven’t read any of her other books this is my first one. I saw angst and it sounded like a lot of pain and I’m like ok where do I sign up

There are three guarantees whenever I pick up a book by B. Celeste. First, I’m going to cry. Second, there’s some element of the story that I will be able to directly connect to something in my own life. Third, I won’t be able to put it down. No surprise, this one hits all three marks. This book may wind up being one of my favorite second chance romances. I think it’s more of a realistic journey of two people finding each other again. It’s not so much that fairytale moment where everything just works out perfectly and everything falls into place. These characters have serious obstacles to overcome and really have to put the work in to get to where they want to end up. I think I enjoy those types of stories most. I just really enjoyed this book, so much, even though parts left me legit bawling to the point of having to step away for a moment.
