This is my first read by B Celeste, and what an introduction to her work for me. This story gripped me from the start right up to the end. The way she writes, I felt the words. This story covers many genres - small town,
Sometimes, you have to give up that one person that you love so much for their happiness. That is the way Raine felt when she broke up with Caleb.
'Lose You to Find Me' is a gripping read. Caleb and Raine have been in love and best friends for six years. So much so that Caleb proposes to Raine at her college graduation, but Raine does not give the anticipated answer.
This devastates Caleb, who is also struggling in his family life. All Caleb wants to know is why, but Raine does not have an answer. On the other hand, Raine is struggling with her own secrets, especially a medical diagnosis that could change her life.
B Celeste has written this in such a way that it draws you in and makes you root for this couple to get back together.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Entertaining, Inspirational, Romantic, Realistic, Tear-jerker, Tragic, Wonderful characters
OKAY so I finished this book several hours ago but I really needed time to process it. Make sure you’re ready to cry when you pick this one up because I wasn’t and when I finished at 5am ugly crying I really didn’t want those emotions thank you.
The Plot
So the first thing we learn is that Raine is rejecting Caleb’s proposal. While it doesn’t outright say why until pretty close to the end it’s hinted at pretty heavily. Caleb is, rightfully so in this instance, blindsided by her refusal seeing as they’ve been together 7 years. From there we watch them try to pick up the pieces of their lives and see them going back to each other time and time again.
The Characters
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love dual pov books. I always feel so much more invested when I get to be inside the head of all main characters and that’s especially true for this book. During Caleb’s pov parts you really can feel the struggle he’s going through. Having to juggle as much as he is while trying to come to terms with his breakup is gut wrenching in some places. I cried more from his pov than from Raine’s. Raine’s pov is not great either lol. Her family life is pretty freaking awful to be honest. Throughout most of the book she feels incredibly isolated and alone like she deserves all the pain she’s enduring. You really feel it though towards the end and trust me you’re going to cry there too.
Both the characters have a pretty good amount of growth. They learn how to be open and honest with someone, how to ask for help when you need it, and I think more importantly how to stand up for yourself (talking to you Raine.) These two are definitely my favorite from the series so far.
The Conclusion
If you liked the others in this series you’re going to love this one. In my opinion it has everything the others have and more. A really engaging plot line that grabs you pretty much from the very beginning, characters that grow and evolve throughout the story, and the feels. Will pick this up again for a reread when I need a good cry.

Lose You to Find Me is the third book in the Lindon U series. It's the story of Caleb Anders and Raine Copeland. We have seen this couple in both previous books in the series. Caleb and Raine have been together since high school. The book opens to Caleb proposing to Raine at their college graduation from Lindon U. Raine says no and it starts the beginning of a roller coaster ride of emotion as both struggle to deal with secrets and tragedy. Like most of this author's books, this one deals with some pretty heavy topics - teen pregnancy, miscarriage, fertility issues, complicated family dynamics, and the loss of a loved one. It's a second chance romance told from Caleb and Raine's POV.
I love that you can always relate to the characters and their struggles in B. Celeste's books. Her books are raw and emotionally impactful. I want to feel deep emotions when I read a book and I want to have to think about life and it's meaning (sorry, I know that sounds corny). I always get that from this author's books.

If there is ever a book to read that you are enjoying, but yet it's bringing you pain too, it's this one!
Caleb and Raine are high-school sweethearts, college sweethearts, and basically endgame. Everyone thought that, including them. But what happens when you ask someone to marry you and they say no? How do you move on from that? Together? Separate?
Caleb's a great guy. He's close to his parents, a stand-up guy who's loved Raine for years. This book really puts him through the wringer. He's got some things going on besides Raine, and it's been putting him through a tailspin. He's making decisions he wouldn't normally do. I'll be Team Caleb forever.
Raine knows why she said no. And y'all, I wanted to just beg her throughout the book to just tell him! I was literally gritting my teeth. But without the secrets, it would only be like 2 or 3 chapters, lol.
My favorite line from the book: "The only thing somebody needs to know how to do is love, and you’ve always been full of that. At the end of the day, it’s how you express it, accept it, and distribute it despite all the challenges that makes a difference.”
Angst level: HIGH. As in danger, danger high levels!

This book was different than I expected. I like Raine and Caleb together, but it just felt like the whole book was going around in circles. They would have about one conversation get kind of angry and then have sex. I understood her reason for breaking up with him, but I just felt like she should’ve told him the reason a lot sooner. The last part of the book where they both knew everything about each other was good, we should’ve had more of that throughout the whole book. I also think that since the book ended with her saying no to his proposal the book should've ended with her saying yes.
I received an arc through netgalley.

Lose You to Find Me is the long awaited third book in the Lindon U series by B Celeste and it follows Raine and Caleb. They had been together for years only to break up when Caleb asks for Raine’s hand in marriage and she tells him she can’t. Now, tragedy has brought them back into each other’s orbit but there’s still a lot that needs to be said and trust that needs to be rebuilt.
I’m not a huge fan of miscommunication and this book was based on it heavily. For a couple who had been together for years you think they would have been better at communicating but they clearly had things they never told the other. I can’t get over how she hid what she was going through for years or how he didn’t notice. She clearly hinted at it throughout the book but she really should have talked to him about it sooner than she did.
Some takeaway thoughts. This story reads really fast and although it wasn’t my favorite book in the series Im still glad we got Raine and Caleb’s story and they were able to heal and have a future. I did really enjoy learning about Mr Applebee and his life. Raine’s mom is the worst. I’m looking forward to Matt and Rachel’s story in book four of the series.
Thank you @greyspromo and @authorbceleste for this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

When I requested this book to ARC read via Netgalley it was becoz of 3 things; the cover, the title (it was giving selena gomez lose you to love me) and ofcourse the angsty blurb. I was in the mood to cry and not going to lie I came close at a specific part to tearing up.
It was a beautiful story, very emotional packed and deep. It dealt with serious issues and depressing ones.
13% into the book and I knew what Raine's secret was, all of it. So I was eager to read more and see how it all worked out.
Both of the main characters were tremendously strong and suffered a lot.
I felt so bad for Caleb and the pressure he was under. The writing was so real I felt my sympathy for him increasing further and further as I read. I literally wanted to jump into the book and help him or just tell the guy "it's okay, you can let it out" and give him a hug. However I wished he treated Emma a bit better as she was a wonderful character and I would love to see her story. She deserves an epic love.
This story delivered on the raw emotions, angst, unwavering love & what it means to go back to the person that hurt you because their love forever consumes you and you'll always care about them.
It was apparent Raine & Caleb never fell out of love with each other and their love indeed was so beautiful and so intact. It eventually could withstand it all.
I enjoyed it but one thing I'd say is that I know the miscommunication trope was required but however so, it did make me get a bit tired of it being dragged out. Again though it was a requirement to contribute to the story and overall it was a well written book with solid characters so I can let it slide.
There were plenty of moments and quotes I digitally highlighted as it spoke to me and I resonated with a few parts deeply, which I liked.
