So, this is my first Jami Albright audio, and I spent the entire time with a smile on my face! Between happy moments and hysterical scenes, Albright had me enjoying this first in the Brides on the Run series. This story features Gavin and Scarlett find themselves in bed and married after a night of fun and drinking. Scarlett wants out, but Gavin is in need of a rock star reputation face lift. What better way than with his new wife? A little convincing and an unexpected circumstance keep these two married, and their life together begins. The question is, will they be able to fool the public? Is it an act? Will they survive each other? You will love to listen to this as you laugh with them and love with them. It's a great start to the series!

Jennifer Grace is a new to me narrator and I enjoyed her performance. She has great comedic timing and her voices easily distinguishable and entertaining. I look forward to more by her.

Fabulous fun read

This book has a bit of everything in it...emotional angst, humor, a little mystery mixed in with romance. I enjoyed every moment reading this book and nearly choked on my laughter at certain parts. Loved it!

I am so happy I picked this book up on a whim. It's fantastic!! I loved it!! Running From A Rock Star is a well written, sweet and funny read that I know will be a re-read in the future. The characters - main and side - are AMAZING!! So much fun! I was incredibly entertained from beginning to end!! Jami Albright is officially on my watch list. I'm really looking forward to reading more from this author.

Running from a Rock Star is hilarious. If you like Penny Reid's Tennessee comedy you'll love this Texas version. Scarlett takes a cue from Elizabeth Taylor "I don't sleep with anyone I'm not married to", so with alcohol freely flowing Scarlett and Gavin get married. This good girl gone bad story may be funny but secrets lead to heartache. Can their instant attraction lead to forever? Join them on their roller coaster journey, you won't regret it.

I couldn’t stand the heroine.

I didn’t finish this book. I skipped to the end. The heroine was ridiculous. She thought finding her own husband attractive was wicked. Give me a break.

This book had so much potential. I love the premise. The characters were lovable. I love a redeemed bad boy who is broken. I love a girl letting her walls down with someone and letter her real self show, I DO!

However... The plot would not stay in the moment long enough for me to FEEL my FEELINGS over what the characters were going through. We would move on to the next hurdle in the story too fast. And there were SO many hurdles. In my opinion too many obstacles too overcome. I would have liked if the story gave me a minute to sit in the emotions the characters were having before we switched gear so fast to the next problem in the plot we had to overcome.

Overall it was a cute story. I fell in love with Scarlett and her quirky family. The family is an amazing bonus to this story. LOVED THEM. Gavin is a dream and I can really tell he loves Scarlett. The ending was soooooo sweet and it was an adorable wonderful HEA.
