The beginning of this worked for me but then it crossed over into an extremely rushed grab bag of every romance trope and storyline possible. And there are also a few things I didn’t love that probably wouldn’t be written the way they are if it had been released in 2022 ~ the gun/Texas conversation and some offhand comments about China. I would definitely be willing to try one of the author’s newer books though to see how she has grown.

I was laughing right from the start of Gavin and Scarlett's story. There is so much hilarious drama, brilliant banter and sizzling chemistry but Jami Albright also gives us deep emotion with both Scarlett and Gavin haunted by their childhoods.
Gavin has the bad boy rocker exterior and panty melting smile but also a huge, generous and loyal heart. It's very easy to fall in love with The Delinquent. Until she met Gavin, Scarlett kept such a tight control on her emotions and actions for fear of being gossiped about by her nosey hometown and deemed to be like her mother. I loved seeing her gain the confidence to be her true self.
It was heartwarming to watch them heal eachother's hearts and find love and support.

Romantic comedies are not my style. But I am so glad I picked this one up. I loved it. I found it funny and entertaining.

This is my first book by this author and it wont be the last. This book is hilarious! I loved every minute of it! This is Gavin and Scarlett's story.

Gavin needs to repair his image or his music career will go down the tubes. He’s also just learned he has a son he never knew existed! Gavin wants to settle down, and bribing his new wife to stay married may just fit everything into place.

Scarlett agrees to the ruse to help her family’s financial troubles even though she can hardly control herself around the rock star. As they search for Gavin’s son, will the cross-country adventure give them exactly what they’ve been missing or send them packing?

This was a pretty good book. I laughed, I was brought to tears, and I swooned. While it was occasionally over the top, I really did enjoy it, and I would recommend it to people who enjoy romcom type books. 3.5 stars.

What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas when you wake up married to a bad boy rock star! Or when the media catches you fleeing from the hotel with his name tattooed on your butt...

This book was so much fun and had me laughing out loud at parts. This was a great start to the runaway bride series!

I received an advanced reader copy of this book and voluntarily provided this honest review.
